Privacy Policy

1. Information Talat does not request or store

Talat does not ask visitors to create an account and does not request or store names, email addresses, telephone numbers, mailing addresses, payment-card information, or retailer account credentials. Talat does not process checkout and does not store a visitor's purchase history.

Search terms are used to return results for the current request. Talat does not save search terms in its application database, associate searches with a visitor profile, or sell search information.

2. Limited technical processing

Like most websites, Talat relies on hosting, content-delivery, and security providers to deliver pages and protect the service. Those providers may automatically process limited technical information—such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time—in ordinary network and security logs. Talat does not use that information to build personal profiles or for targeted advertising.

Talat does not use advertising cookies or analytics cookies. The homepage construction notice uses session storage on the visitor's device only to remember that the notice was dismissed during that browser session. That preference is not transmitted to Talat's application database.

3. Affiliate links and commissions

Some links on Talat are affiliate links. Talat publishes only affiliate destinations that have passed its validation checks. When a visitor chooses an offer, the visitor follows the retailer's full tagged link directly. Talat does not attach the visitor's search terms to that outbound link and does not store a user-level click record.

Talat may earn a commission if a qualifying purchase is completed. An affiliate program may provide Talat with aggregated or non-identifying performance reports, such as the number of referrals, qualifying items, or commission amounts. Talat does not receive the visitor's payment-card details or retailer password.

4. Retailers and other third parties

A visitor who follows a link away from Talat enters a separate website operated by a retailer or another third party. That party's privacy policy, terms, cookies, and data practices apply from that point forward. Talat does not control and is not responsible for how an outside retailer collects, uses, retains, or shares information.

Visitors should review the retailer's privacy policy before providing personal or payment information or completing a purchase.

5. Children

Talat is a general-audience shopping discovery service and is not directed to children under 13. Talat does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Policy changes

Talat may update this policy as the service or its legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when a material update is published.
